Final Videos

On Wednesday, February 20 (Happy Birthday to Scott's mom!), we showed five of our final videos to a full house in Galileo 201 on the SMC campus.  Here are the five videos we showed (or you can watch them on the live stream on the post below).

Showing our Puerto Rico home and how it felt to live there: the camp vid

Giving some context about the island and its ways: The Heart of Puerto Rico

Profiles of some of the outstanding women leaders we met: Women

An overview of some local dance traditions: Bomba and Plena

The motto of Puerto Rico is "Puerto Rico Se Levanta," meaning "Puerto Rico will rise."

If you would like to donate to the work of SBP (St. Bernard Project) in Puerto Rico, please follow this link: http://sbpusa.org/where-we-help/puerto-rico

And now here are the final seven videos:

Water was a central element of most of the stories we heard in Puerto Rico, including our own.  Chanclas Fuegas chronicled some of our perspectives on water.

We wanted to understand how FEMA fit into the Puerto Rico situation.  Team Picante took a look.

This one discusses our approach to community engagement.

Here's some more coverage of our excellent partners at SBP.

And here are Team Tortuga's reflections on Puerto Rico and their experience there.

Team Picante looked closely at San Isidro to convey our understanding of our task.

We're very fond of each other.  This "Warm and Fuzzy" video helps us to express our admiration.
